About the Role

As a Research Analyst, you’ll undertake database set up and data analysis, working with project teams to deliver insightful, stimulating reports: manage the successful delivery of projects on time, on budget and to MHM’s high standards: help develop innovative data analysis processes; and contribute to a successful team culture.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Working collaboratively with project teams to deliver best insight, client and business outcomes.
  • Effectively scheduling projects and proactively managing schedule changes for best business and client outcomes.
  • Proactively managing projects to ensure high-quality, on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Designing, analysing, interpreting, reporting and presenting on primary and secondary, quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Proactively managing qualitative projects, including: participant recruitment and coordination; stimulus development; consolidation of findings.
  • Liaising with third party providers; sourcing quotes and effectively managing relationship and deliverables to contract
  • Processing quantitative data, including: validation, cleaning, weighting, re-coding, deriving and tabulating for best insight outcomes.
  • Setting up and maintaining research databases.
  • Sourcing and extracting secondary data.
  • Contributing to project development and business winning including: method design, time and cost scoping and proposal writing.
  • Proactively managing client relationships to ensure retention and growth of accounts.
  • Actively seeking out opportunities to win new projects and clients.
  • Actively contributing to the development of research, analytics and insight approaches.

General Duties

  • Work as part of the team to meet business and individual targets
  • Keep up to date with research techniques, software and new ways of thinking and contribute to knowledge-building across the business
  • Liaise with colleagues, both in Australia and internationally, to ensure positive outcomes.
  • Undertake other such reasonable duties as required by the Director

The Particulars

Location: Melbourne with options for remote working

Salary: 60-80,000 AUD
