Researcher

As a Research Executive in the Cause-led team, Rebecca has managed projects for clients such as the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS), Knowsley Safari Park, and the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust (WWT) and enjoys supporting eco-friendly initiatives which contribute towards understanding how climate change effects individuals in society. Particularly enthused by qualitative methods of research, Rebecca loves working on projects which have a particularly defined mission to contribute to wider social changes.

Prior to joining MHM, Rebecca completed their BA and MA degrees in History at the University of Manchester. Their dissertation topics centred on the representations of homosexuality in the press through the mid-20th century, and the privatisation of public execution in the 19th century as a form of controlling the working class. Both reflect their passion to better understand social justice and identities.

On the weekends, Rebecca can be found escaping on walks into nature, or attempting to develop their skills in various crafts including but not limited to sewing, knitting, and crochet.
